What People Are Saying
“Loved this place! It is super close to the Square, walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in town. The hosts pay attention to details and really make you feel welcomed. I found a bottle of wine, candies and a cake in the kitchen! The place itself is very nice and quiet. Plenty of books and art. I'll be back.”

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Shari's place. It was in a quiet part of Marshall, but close enough to visit a number of venues to eat and shop. I especially liked the quiet. There was no noise, road or otherwise. The house was well equipped with everything needed to have a successful stay. The house was clean and well maintained. It was quite apparent Shari takes pride in her offering. There is quite an extensive library for one who likes to read, and to be honest it would be worth the time just to visit to read and relax. It is just one of those places that you feel at home in, or I did at least. I appreciated the breakfast cake that was left for me. It went well with my morning coffee. (Thank you Shari!) I usually make one to two recreational trips to Marshall each year. I hope Shari's home is available the next time I visit.

This is a great place to stay if you like peace and quiet. Chris and Sherri were very friendly and accommodating to my needs. This place gives you that small town feeling where everyone knows each other and helps each other.

"You're not staying in a hotel, for the same amount of money," Peterson said. "It's like you actually get to go home. That's the neat part. That's my idea ... to make it feel like when you walk in the door you're home. And people feel that way."
